today in class, we were starting a new topic involving time and time zones.

• circadian cycle/rhythm - your natural and biological clock
• Fleming 1879 - in 1876 his first proposal was for a global 24 hour clock at the center of the earth. but by 1879, he specified that this time would start at Grenache England.
• it was around 1900, almost all time on earth was in time zones.

Mr. Schick was talking about how time zones are quite a new and smart idea. he says that it amazes him, and I agree that people were able to create time zones by using the sun and where this location is on the earth. Time is a weird, crazy, and intriguing thing.
